Thank you Dawn and GlynYesterday Darren and I spent a very enjoyable day at Dawn and Glyn's annual Garden Party held to raise funds and thank the helpers and supporters of The Ragdoll Rehome Group. Every year they host this event and through their hard work and generousity make the day such a happy and fun day out whilst helping our beloved breed of cat.
Whilst there were so many familiar friendly faces present as always (some making very long journeys to get there) it was also nice to meet some of the lovely people who adopted cats from the group and to hear how these cats had settled in their new homes and were winding their new 'mum and dads' round their paws.
Seeing such a gathering of like minded cat people makes you quite emotional, peoples kindness and generosity yesterday was quite overwhelming. I know Dawn and Glyn were absoloutly shattered last night as it had been such a busy few days.
So I hope nobody minds if Darren and I say a very big 'thank you' to Dawn and Glyn Davies on behalf of all your friends for everything you do for the Ragdoll Cat and the help, advice and friendship you give to us all.
