Thanks for posting results, Margaret. We haven't got our catalogue as Anne's copy for stewarding wasn't available - GCCF were 300 short on the print order, we have to await it's arrival in the post.
Thought for the day - when a steward gets bitten badly, should they have to walk to Hall 20 to see a nurse who then can't give anti biotics. Apparently at Crufts they have a doctor on call at the Show - can the GCCF not afford such a luxury?!!! We had to wait 'till we got back to Bury only to come up against a nurse who didn't see why Anne needed them - perhaps he should read the extract from the FAB that we reproduced in our Annual last year on Cat Bites!!!

Is Anne on the road to recovery now? A bite from any animal (or human!) is extremely serious.
I would have thought that it was the NEC who have to provide treatment. I cannot believe they do not have a doctor there or one on standby from a local surgery. There are lots of events that take place there on any given day.
A few years ago mum spilt a cup of boiling water over herself at the supreme and she went to a first aid room there where a dressing was applied.
I do think this needs bringing up with the GCCF at an appropriate moment - maybe through club delegates?
