Hello to everyone my name is Christine Redmayne, I think this forum is a brilliant idea, a great way to make new Raggie friends and although I have been breeding these adorable felines for quite a few years every week throws up different questions, now, thanks to this forum we may be able to help one another, I look forward to meeting some of you at the shows, my first one is Blackpool and Preston,(that's providing I can totally get rid of my boy's stud tail), showing is new to me as my time is taken up with eight breeding queens and three stud boys plus kittens.[/i][/b]

Hi everybody,
It's good to see people beginning to use the Forum - it is after all your Club and your forum!
One gentle reminder to all, though, please do not advise of Shows you intend going to in the future - the GCCF are quite touchy about it, the theory being that Judges may have access to the site and it indicates who might be going. (I know, stupid really, but we don't make the rules and nobody would want to get disqualified for whatever reason, however obscure!).
Bye for now, Brian

Hi Christine,
Welcome to the forum
It is a great place to be able to come and meet new people and get some advise.
Our first show i was so nervous, But then a lady kindly introduced me to Anne and Briane and then just having a friendly face and to know there was help at hand was just great.
Good luck with Showing and your Breeding,
Hope to talk to you some more on here.

KittensHi everyone, well we do have kittens but not without a bit of drama, it became evident at about 1am that Cammilla was struggling, so after a phone call to my vet I rushed her to the surgery and it was decided she needed a caesarean (my vet does not rush into this procedure lightly), anyway all is well and Cammilla and her babies are doing fine, two girls and one boy.
I will put a photo on here, I just have to figure out how to do this first.

Hello everyone, haven't got a pic of Cammilla and babies yet but this is my girl Paddie with her babies born last week, four little bundles of fluff.
I am doing this with my eyelids held open with matchsticks at the moment, just going to check on Cammilla and give her anibiotics then I think a little snooze ZZZZzzzz.
Speak to you all soon.

hOPE ALL THE BABIES ARE DOING WELL AND CAMILLA IS NOT FEELING TO SORE. dID THEY CUT HER ON THE SIDE OR UNDER THE BELLY? WE`VE HAD TWO CASARIANS AND ITS NOT A NICE EXPERIENCE, oNE OF THE MOST WORRYING TIMES.
ITS LOVELY HAVING KITTENS AGAIN, i HAVE TWO LITTERS ONLY 2 WEEKS OLD AND THEY ARE KEEPING US BUSY, bUT WE WOUDNT BE WITHOUT THEM

CamillaEverything is fine with Camilla and her new babies, my vet prefers the tummy cut for a C Section and I must admit when it has healed you can't see a thing, Camilla will be neutered when the kittens are old enough and weaned as this was her second caesaraen, I think two of these operations is enough, don't you?.
By the way, thankyou all for well wishes for Camilla and kittens, much appreciated.

I`m so glad Camilla and the kittens are doing well.
I had my female done after her operation also, It is a lot to go through.

Camilla's kittensJust thought I would update everyone on the progress of Camilla's babies, they are now five weeks old and causing havoc.
Paddie's kittens have decided to chew each others whiskers off, I now have a litter of whisker-less kittens, good job they grow back eh!.
Camilla's kittens below.
Paddie's whisker-less kittens aged 7 weeks.

Camilla's & Paddie's babies are gorgeous, I love
the mitted baby belonging to Paddy, so scrummy
My last babies were also whisker-less

KittensThanks Deborah for your comments about my kittens, the little mitted girl is staying here with me and will eventually be a breeding queen, she will take over from her mummy (Paddie), who will soon be retiring.
All the other little tinkers have now gone to their new homes and (from what their new slaves are telling me), they are already ruling the roost, mind you, I wouldn't expect anything else from a Ragdoll, Would you?.
Christine.
