One of my kittens has lost a lot of his fur on his body, i noticed yesterday. Its only on his body though, all the fur on his points is ok. I searched online and it come up with ringworm but i dont think this is the problem as this is normally on the points and the skin would be inflamed. His skin is fine, and he is eating and playing well. I just dont know whats happened to him, and its really upsetting me.
Can anyone help please!

I assume you're talking about a young kitten in a litter? Are you using a heat pad at all? Is he getting into a warm spot somewhere? Sounds more to me like he might simply be getting too hot. I've heard before quite a few times about kittens losing their coats - it happens more often with hand-reared kittens, because they tend to be kept in heated beds as they have no mothers to raise them!

Yes it is a young kitten in a litter. They are not on a heat pad and it is not too hot as i only have the heating on a few hours a day. All the others are fine too, i would have thought if they were over heating, the others would be the same.
I have seeked advice from my vets and he has put it down to the poor boy not getting enough nutrients from his mother. These kittens have not been hand-raised, and have been with the mother 24/7, but the mother is paying less attention to them now as they have started to eat solids.
