Hello to everyone on the forumHello to everyone on the forum. I have been registered for a while and thought it was about time I said a big 'Hello' to everybody.
My hubby Darren and I have been owned by Ragdolls for just over four years now. We started with Lillie a seal tortie bi-colour, Bertie and blue bi-colour and Celine a five year old seal mitted ex breeding queen. Sadly we only had Bertie for five and half weeks, as he was so very ill. We still get upset thinking of him he was a very special boy We then added Jasper a Persianxragdoll (who is a reall mummies boy) and Redford who was a very sick little kitten who has grown into a magnificent (naughty) brave Red boy. A little later we were blessed with our seal bi-colour show boy Harry and a year or so later our blue bi-colour show girl Lulu Mae. Yes I know its a bit of a pattern we have a huge prefernce for bi-colour Raggies.
We like to go to shows (when we can) and wouldnt miss the PRBCC show for the world as its always so well run and friendly (thanks to Brian and Anne and the comittee). This year's show was so special for us as Harry did so well and his breeder Sharon Terry was there to see all her cats have such great results As poor Sharon travelled up with us she was really squashed in the car on the way back with all Harry and Lulu Mae's prizes and trophies.
We like to help Ragdolls in what ever way we can and are part of the Ragdoll Rehome Group. Normally we are on the cake stall or helping on the groups tables at cat shows and fundraisers. We are proud to be part of this group and in turn would like to thank them all for their friendship and support.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Brian and Anne for their frendship and advice(when we have needed it) the Prbcc is such a lovely club to belong to.
Hoping to get to chat to all of you in the future

Hi Linda,
Welcome to the forum. Its lovely to see so many people starting to get involved on the forum. I cant wait to hear all about you and your raggies.
The PRBCC show was fantastic and we did have such a great day out - thats what its all about after all.
I too am a foster mum for the UKRCC, and i have also rehomed a raggie from there too. The gorgeous, but naughty raggie Molly! She is a seal colourpoint, and huge! Just the way i like them.
Anyway, welcome.

Hi Gail and Harriet,
Thank you for the warm welcome to the forum. I know we have spoken on a forum in the past Gail as I do remember you telling me about Tich. I think these red boys are just so special Redford is convinced he is a dog or a human and doesnt leave you alone for one minute. I often take him to my mum and dad's for a visit and he settles right in straight away, twisting them round his paw getting everything he wants.
Seems we are all foster mums to our beloved Raggies and with all the rescue groups busy with finding homes for many many Ragdolls I really do worry about the future for these wonderful cats we all love so much. There just seems so many needing loving homes and so many kittens out there too.
on a brighter note i will post some piccies when I can get them on to the computor.

Hi Linda,
Your are right, There is something about the Reds, Tich sounds just like your Redford, He`s into everything and the older he gets the more he gets into. His latest love is our bird, He sits next to his cage and puts his paw on the cage and the Kakariki bites his feet and says Hello at the same time, They love each other
It is so sad there are so many Homes needed for Ragdolls and thats why i am happy to help whenever i can, At the moment we have the most loving jet black, Long haired cat that was brought into the vets last week,
We are fostering her until we can find a new home and thats the second in 4 weeks we have fostered, I hope this little girl can be rehomed as quick as the other one.
I would love to see some photos of Redford and i will get some on of Tich.
