Hi All
Due to comments made on another forum recently with regard to the traditional ragdoll and TRCS the following statement has been made. I hope this clarifys any misunderstanding anyone may have about TRCS. If anyone wishes to find out further information on the traditional Ragdoll in the Uk then please go to www.trcs.co.uk.
Dear All
With regard to the statement ‘TRCS is the club that also say that Red & Tabbies are not true Ragdolls!!’ could you please provide proof on Traditionalist Ragdoll Cat Society (formerly Traditional Ragdoll Cat Society) documents to support your comment?
A statement like this from any affiliated GCCF club or GCCF affiliated club member seriously contravenes GCCF constitution.
The Traditionalist Ragdoll Cat Society (formerly Traditional Ragdoll Cat Society) openly recognises all the colours and patterns of Ragdoll that conform to the Ragdoll Breed Registration Policy as being true Ragdolls and welcomes members who own all colours/lines of Ragdolls.
The Traditionalist Ragdoll Cat Society is a specialist breed club catering for certain colours/lines of the Ragdoll breed just as the Blue Persian Cat Society, Red Cream and Tortie Society, Seal and Blue Birman Cat Club do as do many other GCCF affiliated cat clubs.
From a personal perspective, I am a small hobby breeder who breeds with red series lines, tabby series lines, traditional lines including Blossom Time and have never been made to feel inferior in any way by my fellow committee members or any member of the Traditionalist Ragdoll Cat Society.
As this forum welcomes free speech I trust the admin to leave this post on this thread.
Kind regards,
Margaret Lynch on Behalf of TRCS
